Back Home After War's End
America was heavily nuked during World War Seven.
When the war finally ended, the Army pulled us out of Oceana, and sent us home.
The first day back in America, Sarah and I strolled along desert sands at the edge of the ocean.
"Donít go too close to the water," she said. "Itís still highly radioactive."
"Itís the same way in Oceana," I said. "I canít get over how different everything looks around here. It's not the America I once knew."
"Yes. Itís heartbreaking. Those nuclear missiles that hit us were terribly destructive."
"Still, itís wonderful to be back in Las Vegas watching the sunset over the Atlantic Ocean."
