Reunion

It was time and distance that had separated them, and their choice. But, in that moment, time and distance were both fading into nothing. For time hadn't really passed, rather, it had stilled, and distance had never mattered - how else could they still be feeling a pang in their hearts ?

And even as they stood, content for now, to just gaze at each other, they realised that they were simply picking up from where they had left off; it had always been that simple between them. It had always been their choice.
