"You're worried about him catching us again?"
She laughs when she asks that. The carefree sound of it makes my stomach churn.
"Oh lighten up," she says, her eyes twinkling. "Have some wine."
I have no choice, she fills my glass.
"I can't help it," I insist. "He said if he saw me again he'd introduce my insides to the outside."
