Oh, for Pigeons Sake!

I walked along Martin St. and stopped in front of the soupateria - a place who cater to the hungry.

I noticed a tall slender older gentleman feeding the pigeons, then the most amazing once-in-a-lifetime thing happens. The fellow tosses a whole donut which hurls through the air and lands right over top of this one pigeon's head and settles on its neck like a necklace.

The pigeon soars up to a building where he perches himself down seemingly contemplating his next move. He bobs his head to and fro trying to get the donut off his neck.

In his frustration the bird flies over to an adjacent buildings roof peak where he seems to be entertaining his audience. He dances a triple spin and in his finality he lowers his neck as if making a bow, the donut comes slipping off with pigeon ease and falls to the ground for the scavengers to gobble up.
