"I wasn't kissing you," Tammy said. "I was blowing up your head."
"Very funny," Joe muttered. Embarrassment warmed him. The whole cafeteria must have seen it. "Well, I wasn't kissing you either, I was... I was..."
"Oh come on," she said. "I'm only kidding." And then that big old mouth was coming at his once again.
Joe made a half-hearted effort to escape, but she pulled his head close. Her fingers were like talons. Joe looked wildly around the room, watching his friends watch them, wondering if they had any better idea of what was happening than he did.
